Urban Missing Persons Searches

USAR represents an entirely new skill set compared to wilderness and backcountry searches. OSRT team members are constantly training to respond to these difficult incidents. OSRT utilizes tools such as Lost Person Behavior to help narrow down search locations and Drone support to assist with aerial detection, where possible.

An example urban search involved a missing woman near Cleveland. She went missing during a major storm that knocked out power to thousands of area homes. She was found two days after last being seen, sitting comfortably in the local library.
