What You'll Do

You will have the opportunity to work with highly skilled individuals that have similar interests. You will give support to individuals, families, and communities before, during, and after an unfortunate event. You will receive training and become certified by highly skilled and capable instructors.

You need not be superman or superwoman to become part of the team. Our members are everyday average people, just like you.

Our dedicated K-9 handlers are experts in their field. Many are also certified by NASAR. Our K9's deploy and use the latest techniques to assist in the search and rescue process.

K-9

SAR specialists are the heart of our organization. Certified by NASAR, our specialists can conduct operations day or night and in all weather conditions.

Search and Rescue Specialist (SAR)

Our rescue teams consist of members certified in FAA and experienced in drone operations as well as search and rescue.

Drone Operations

All members receive extensive training in EMA-ICS (Incident Command) training, so they can direct responders on the ground as well as seamlessly integrate with other emergency personnel and teams.

Incident Command System

Members are trained to support the teams in areas such as: Safety, Public Information, Planning, Operations, Logistics, and much more.

Admin Support

If you'd rather work from home or help staff the command and communications trailers, there are plenty of positions that do not require you to deploy into the field.

Support Personnel

OSRT members have the option of becoming trained by NASCAR to serve as fire rescue on pit road.
